LANDLORD BOB’S

DISTRICT III CLASS AA

TEAM RANKINGS

WEEK 8

This is it – for more reason than not. The MPC is settled; The Berks and Tri-Valley Champs are in the books. All that is left is the placers in the Tri-Valley and Berks and the Champs in the YAIAA, L-L. It all gets underway on Tuesday when the annual Biglerville/Bermudian match taking place away from the home teams gym. This is our final week but we will be back next week with our Team Tournament predictions.

1. Brandywine Heights (16-0) – It took everything they had but the Bullets look to trot into the post season with an unblemished record. The BCIAA Team championships may offer a bit of variety but there’s not too much standing in the way of the Bullets going wire to wire.
Next Up: @RCC January 23rd; @BCIAA TC January 25th

2. Bermudian Springs (13-0) – Disposed of two league foes to take the upper hand heading into the CannerDome Tuesday Night. If Brandywine and Schuylkill is our “State fair” then Bermudian/Biglerville is our Ohio State/Michigan.
3.

Next Up: Biglerville January 22nd (at Biglerville); Hanover January 23rd

3. Boiling Springs (10-1) – Your undisputed small school champion from the MPC.
Next Up: James Buchanan January 21st.

4. Biglerville (21-2) – Had a fairly impressive week with a big in league deal with the Squires and a sweep at Gettysburg beating the #4 team in the state of Virginia. Make no bones about it – With this one you just dump the fine china on the floor because it’s going to get broken anyway. I have business in Atlanta on Tuesday but who knows maybe I can make it to the front door at the UAAC by 4pm?

Next Up: @ Fairfield January 21st; @ Bermudian January 22nd (In Biglerville)

5. Juniata (18-2) – The tribe hit their first unstoppable resistance this past weekend at Juniata Duals part 2. They are almost identical to Biglerville in record and strength. They have defended the Tri-Valley and will be their #1 rep come the post season.

Next Up: Juniata Quad January 25th

6. Schuylkill Valley (16-2) – The Panthers rebounded nicely from their loss to Brandywine and could be looking at anywhere from a 3 to a 6 seed in the postseason.

Next Up: @ Pottsville January 21st; Hamburg January 23rd; @ BCIAA TC Jan 26th

7. Delone Catholic (10-4) – Dropped two league matches and 2 OOC matches at the Juniata Duals. I for one would have liked to see them hit the hosts.

Next Up: @ West York January 24th

8. Pequea Valley (9-1) – After a not so sparkling performance in the L-L Tournament the Braves aim for their biggest match of the season by claiming the L-L small school crown on Thursday night.

Next Up: Donegal January 24th; @ West Chest Rumble January 26th

9. Hamburg (16-9) – Slips inside the Top 10 with a 4-3 week. They can wreck the Panthers season this week.

Next Up: @ Schuylkill Valley January 24th; @BCIAA TC January 26th

10. Littlestown (17-12) – The Bolts got banged around this past week going 2-5 against a little better competition. Still 20 wins and a berth in the postseason is quite a compliment.

Next Up: @ Fairfield January 24th; @ York School of Technology January 26th

11. East Pennsboro (9-2) – Holding on to that #2 position in the MPC

Next Up: @ Greencastle January 21st. @ Camp Hill January 24nd

12. Milton Hershey (10-6) – Except the EP loss; 10-6 beats 9-5.

Next Up: Palmyra January 24th; @ Red Land January 26th

13. Susquenita (9-5) – Great SOS – Not an incredible record.

Next Up: Middletown January 24th

14. Newport (8-5) – Because of old Jack Frost we will now have to wait till Thursday night to find out whose # 2 in the Tri.

Next Up: UDA January 24th; @ Bedford Tournament January25th & January 26th

15. Upper Dauphin (5-4) – Read Above *^*^*^ - That’s all that matters.

Next Up: Line Mountain January 23rd; @ Newport January 24th; @ Jim Thorpe Duals January 26th

16. Donegal (7-4) – The L-L will be settled in Knizers Thursday Night.

Next Up: @ Pequea Valley January 24th; @ Buckskin Duals January 26th
